Bali Trip on Groupon... Wow! Affordable. For 3D2N stay in either Bali or Jakarta or Bandung or Medan or Jogjakarta, this package is incredibly cheap at RM199 (1 person) / RM380 (2 persons). Now, it is I who need to decide. Only yesterday, the Jogjakarta Trip is changed to March 2013. That has made me thinking of other destinations. I am looking for places in the Asian countries. And this package offered on Groupon is something good. The offer lasts within 6-days. Act now!

Daylight sighs...
Ahh... I have read some articles in The Nepal Issue from the MAS's going places in-flight magazine for 3 times. My thought wanders. I look up MyDeal for discounted travel package. It's just not there. Perhaps in future. I learnt that the best time to visit Kathmandu are between October to November and February to March. Hiking up to the foothills of Mt. Everest could probably not practical in the chill weather of winter!

Dreams of vacations in Kathmandu, Nepal!
Sitting quietly and attentively. As I read on the MAS in-flight magazine, I begin to dream of a vacation over the mountains in Kathmandu! Insane! My love for nature never stops. It was just a few days ago when I sought the quotation for climbing up Mt. Kinabalu. Indeed! And, a friend came to tell me that there is a package to Kathmandu in December 2013. Alright. Still a long wait then. Who knows where would I be before that time comes. For sure, Jogjakarta in Indonesia, awaits me this November! Borobudur....

Up to the mountains...
It's
been 3-days. Well! I was away from home. Up to the highlands. No internet nor
WiFi connections. Away from my hectic workloads. Remember D'Villa Rina Ria Lodge? I stayed there during my 2D1N Trip to Kinabalu National Park. A family
outings of course. In fact, a bunch of lodges is just here and there. To name a
few, Puncak Borneo Resort, Bayu Lodge, J Residence, and Mountain Resthouse. And
there is a new one, Tahubang Lodge, right at the opposite side of the road, in
front of the Kinabalu National Park entrance. One could get the room rates from
the reception counter at Kinabalu Park HQ! I hunted for information on mountain
climbing. Guess what? There's a special rate for Local Sabahan! Wow! But fully
booked until July 2013! The only available is on 25 December 2012. What? It's
Christmas! I went in and out to the Reception Counter, Transportation
Service, Visitor's Centre and the Souvenirs shop. I get my family certificates for
visiting the park at the cost of RM5 each from the Visitor's Centre. Plus, a
stainless steel bell-shaped bottle opener at RM14.90 as a souvenir. I am fully
satisfied even though we have to pay the entrance fee. It is RM3 for Malaysians
adult, and RM1 for Malaysians aged 18 years and below. Until next time...

This is great!
Hooray! This is it. I managed to call D'Villa Rina Ria Lodge one of the closest place to stay nearby Kinabalu National Park. And, yes, there is still one room left for booking. How could it be? It's holiday this weekend and I couldn't believe it. But wait! I just cannot make up my mind for that. Oh goodness me!

Look Out! I'm writing...
Hey! It's good. Writing out my thought is always my biggest struggle. Well, I guess I am not a born writer. Perhaps I should give it some more times to consider before I really know what to write. Yes!
